My baby turned 1

Elana- you inspired me to create a blog, I would like a written commentary so one day my children can look back and realize that yes.... they are my universe! My youngest turned one on Monday. I still can't believe that I will never have another infant of my own again! He just started taking a couple steps so he has officially entered toddlerhood! Dylan is 5 and is growing like a weed, while Mackenzie at 3 1/2 acts like a teenager at times. Being a mother of three is extremely hard work, yet it is the most rewarding of all of the jobs that I have ever done. I consider myself quite lucky because I am fortunate enough to love my job. I teach Psychology to juniors and seniors in high school. I must say that I have learned alot from them. The most important thing that I have learned is that childhood goes by in a flash and parents need to enjoy every minute of it, because by the time our children are teenagers they will no longer need a hug in the middle of the night or a kiss to make "it" all better. So it does not bother me that my youngest wakes up in the middle of the night or that I sleep with a 3 1/2 and a 5 year old, because this phase will soon be gone and I will long for those days of cuddling with my babies.
